Black Sheep Racing heads to the Midwest for the first time this year with their three championship competing drivers Laura Ely, Kenton King and Steven Ayers who will take part at the lengthy 4.048-mile road course at Road America this weekend. Back for more after a nearly two-month hiatus, the team is aiming to take home a few more trophies to add to the collection.
“It has been a while since we have been on track, but I know myself and our drivers are more than ready to get back after it,” explained Laura Ely. “We have all been on the podium at one time or another this year, and we will look to do more of that this weekend.”
Taking part in the Porsche Sprint Challenge USA West program, Black Sheep Racing drivers will once again compete in the 991 class in their quest for success. Looking to make both personal and team partners proud, Ely, King and Ayers will take on the picturesque facility in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin as they aim for the top step of the podium.
Marketing Liaison Chriss Stiffler commented, “Road America is one of the events that we circled on the calendar when the schedule was announced at the end of 2021. This is a place we want to do well at and a facility that we look forward to racing.”
Black Sheep Racing will be on track this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin to compete for their next podium. To keep up with the action, follow Black Sheep Racing on Instagram and Facebook for results and updates.
